Welcome to Primrose Chihuahuas, we are dedicated preservation breeders committed to protecting, promoting, and preserving the integrity of the Chihuahua breed.
Our breeding program is built on purpose, not convenience. We focus on producing Chihuahuas that exemplify correct breed type, sound structure, stable temperament, and excellent health — always guided by the official breed standards of the American Kennel Club, Canadian Kennel Club, and United Kennel Club.
Primrose dogs have been highly awarded in Conformation competition, earning recognition for their quality, balance, and adherence to breed standard. We take great pride in presenting dogs that not only succeed in the show ring but also excel in performance and as devoted companions.
Health is non-negotiable in our program. All of our breeding dogs are comprehensively health tested and OFA certified through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. We carefully evaluate pedigree, structure, temperament, and genetic health before making any breeding decisions to ensure we are strengthening the breed with each generation.
Our Chihuahuas are raised in a loving home environment with intentional early socialization, exposure to everyday life, and individual attention. We are deeply committed to placing each puppy in a thoughtfully selected home and remain a lifelong resource and support system for our Primrose families.
As preservation breeders, our responsibility extends beyond producing beautiful dogs — we are stewards of the breed’s future. Every litter is planned with care, knowledge, and respect for the Chihuahua’s history and purpose.
